Platform Monitoring & Control

IMROD provides a precise and innovative workflow for monitoring and managing the health of mission-critical platforms by collecting data from all platform systems, sensor interface and CPU. The collected information is then decoded with extreme accuracy and reliability and made easily accessible to the user through an advanced display-based user interface. Users can then operate the systems manually or automatically, as required. Furthermore, all information is recorded to support future investigation and maintenance efforts, ensuring full control and continuous improvement of critical systems.

Remote Controlled Weapon Systems (RCWS)

The Remote-Control Weapon System (RCWS) assembly kit is a vital subsystem for enhancing the firepower of armored personnel carriers (APCs). By enabling integrators to remotely operate onboard weapon systems, it empowers accurate aiming and firing while simultaneously boosting warfighter safety. This is achieved by keeping personnel protected inside the vehicle, minimizing their exposure to potential threats while they engage targets.

Vehicle protection systems

FAQ

These are the most commonly
asked questions we get, Cant
find what you’re looking for?

What is the difference between Build-to-Print and Build-to-Spec in cable assembly manufacturing?
In Build-to-Print (BTP), we manufacture electronic components and cable harnesses exactly according to the customer's provided drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and specific instructions. We act as the execution arm, ensuring precise adherence to the original design. In Build-to-Spec (BTS), the customer provides the functional requirements or performance specifications (e.g., "a cable that connects X to Y and withstands Z temperatures"). Our engineering team then designs the solution, selects the materials, and produces the final product to meet those operational goals. We offer both services to support clients from the concept phase through to mass production. For the maritime industry, we also provide specialized LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) marine cables. These are fire-resistant cables designed for ships and offshore units to maximize safety by minimizing toxic, acidic smoke in confined, poorly ventilated areas.
What are the challenges of manufacturing cable assemblies for armored vehicles?
Manufacturing for armored vehicles (such as tanks, APCs, and IFVs) requires components that can withstand harsh environmental conditions. This includes extreme vibration, mechanical shock, varying temperatures, and exposure to dust or fluids. Our assemblies are ruggedized and tested to ensure signal integrity and power distribution reliability under these combat-proven conditions.
Is your facility equipped for high-volume manufacturing of cable assemblies?
Absolutely. Our facility utilizes advanced automated machinery for wire cutting, stripping, and crimping, which allows us to process large orders with high speed and exceptional repeatability. This automation reduces manual labor costs and minimizes human error, allowing us to offer competitive pricing and reliable lead times for large-scale production runs while adhering to AS9100 quality standards.
Do your cable assemblies comply with IPC standards?
Yes. All our cable and wire harness assemblies are manufactured in strict compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies). We employ certified IPC trainers and specialists to ensure that soldering, crimping, and assembly meet the Class 2 or Class 3 requirements typically demanded by the defence and industrial sectors.
